Charles E Chance 81, of LaBelle passed away Sunday January 9, 2022 at Hope Healthcare Services Lehigh Acres.
He was born in Paducah, KY to the late Earvin and Gladys (Yates) Chance.
He was an Owner/Operator in the Trucking Industry.
Surviving are his wife: Shirley (Roberts) Chance
sons: Charles Chance, James Chance, Thomas Dotson, Lloyd Dotson, Keith Chance, Mike Chance, Rocky Chance, Paul Chance and William Johnson.
daughter: Crystal Chance-Rodriguez
sister: Pat Sue Kemp
24 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren
The family will receive friends on Friday January 14th from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Akin-Davis Funeral Home 560 E. Hickpochee Ave. Labelle.
Funeral Service will be at 1 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Chance officiating.
Interment will be at Fort Denaud Cemetery.
William O Gibson, age 80, of Clewiston, passed away January 2, 2022 in Lehigh Acres.
He was born May 1, 1941 in Birmingham, AL, to the late Richard and the late Beulah (White) Gibson. He married Billie Ruth Allen in 1987 and she preceded him in death on January 8, 2021. He worked for most of his life as a small engine mechanic. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather who will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
William leaves behind his children; W. Kevin Gibson, Brian Gibson, son William Allen Davies (wife Mistie) in Titusville, FL; daughters Jane Sadette Davies Purcell (husband Darren) of Norman, OK; and Laura Beth Davies Jones (husband Scott) of Clewiston, grandchildren Victor William Engel (wife Anne), Frances Renee Rios (husband Rolando), William Kale Gibson, Justin Cade Gibson, Aubrey Nicole Thompson, Dylan Thompson, Robert Edward Purcell, and Ethan Michael Purcell, Elisabeth Jane Palmer, Ryan Michael Palmer, William Evans Davies, Emma Kaitlin Davies, Bruce Franklyn Jones, Evelyn Kay Jones, and Leslie Nicole Jones, along with many extended family members.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Akin-Davis Funeral Home – Clewiston
