CHL Holdings Inc. owns 27 acres of pasture land in the subdivision, along with hundreds of vacant lots, and now building a five bedroom, two and one-half bath, 4968 square feet home with swimming pool that may be soon used as a "club house" for Banyan Village.
The project started in mid 2022 and this month completed the roof and water service to the site.
CHL bought the land in 2003, and until the last few years only one house was built in Banyan Village. That home on Raleigh Dr. stood alone for at least a decade. Now new homes are filling the eastern portion of Banyan Village in mid-Hendry county.
