The accreditation process involved a rigorous, unannounced onsite review conducted in October, during which a team of Joint Commission reviewers thoroughly assessed HRMC's compliance with standards. The evaluation covered critical areas such as emergency management, environment of care, infection prevention and control, leadership, medication management, and rights and responsibilities of the individual.
The Joint Commission's standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts, providers, and patients.
