Aileen "Sis" Frances (Boyles) De Buysser, 66, of Labelle, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 26th, 2025.
She was born on May 10, 1958, in Norwalk, Ohio, to Art and Sandy (Tinker) Boyles. She graduated from Put-in-Bay High School in 1976.
On June 19th, 1976, she married her husband, Ron, in Put-in-Bay, Ohio. They were best friends for their 49 years together. She often referred to him as her hero. The love they shared with each other was inspiring, especially to their children. Together they built a family that Aileen was always proud of. In recent years, as their family grew, each new addition brought her so much joy. Her absence in their lives will be felt for generations.
Aileen loved her life in Florida. She enjoyed making wreaths and decorations, flower arrangements or jewelry. She adored flamingos and the color pink. Her green thumb was well-known, and she could often be found tending to her beautiful plants. She loved spending time with her friends, who she referred to as her Florida Family. Happy hours and get-togethers were a regular occurrence and Aileen loved treating the group to new drink recipes. She brought love, hugs, fun and laughter to everyone who knew her.
Aileen is survived by her husband, Ron; her daughter, Kristina (Sherry) Taylor, of Huron, Ohio; her son, Joe (Ashley) De Buysser, of Sandusky, Ohio; grandchildren, Dayna (Destiny) Taylor, Dylan (Taylor) Taylor, and Kailey De Buysser; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Carter and Atlas. She is also survived by her father, Art (Celeste) Boyles; siblings, Nancy, Art, Beth, Dennis and Tip as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, Sandy, Aileen was preceded in death by father-in-law, Joseph De Buysser, and nephews, Daniel Niece and A.J. Boyles. Aileen and her family have decided not to hold any services. Akin Davis Funeral Home in Labelle, Florida will handle the cremation.
