Delays On Route 2 Okeechobee Water Way

CLEWISTON, FL. -- Attention all concerned boaters! Route 2, along the Okeechobee Water Way will experience temporary closures from July 27th through August 7th, for the installation of a submerged pipeline. 

There will be identification buoys and a spotter boat (21' center console) in the area monitoring VHF Channel 16. These operations will be conducted from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Boaters should expect delays when transiting the area. Please exercise caution!
