OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING
LABELLE, FL. -- On Saturday, August 29, 2026, at approximately 5:25pm, Hendry County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Case Road and State Road 29 south of LaBelle, after receiving a report of a reckless driver.
A short time later, Deputies advised shots had been fired. The suspect was transported to the hospital for injuries sustained. Law Enforcement Officers were not injured.
The scene has been turned over to FDLE.
