LABELLE, FL. -- A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the City of LaBelle water service area for residents living in the area bounded by Bridge Street to Oak Street and Washington Avenue to the Caloosahatchee River due to a water main construction and improvements.
Water service was shut off between 1 PM to 3:30 PM Wednesday in this area. All City of LaBelle water users in this area are advised to bring drinking water to a rolling boil for at least one minute prior to consumption upon restoration of service.
As an alternative bottled water may be used. This notice is effective immediately and will remain in effect until 11/11/11 or a notice is issued lifting the boil water action.
