CLEWISTON, FL. -- On Saturday, May 12, Hendry County Deputies responded to the Sherwood Sub-Division in Clewiston, after receiving a call reporting gunshots fired. One suspect has been arrested and a 14-year old teen is being sought by the Hendry Sheriff's Office.
When Deputies arrived on scene they found that two victims had been taken to a nearby medical facility.
Najera has Hendry county drug and alcohol related convictions going back to 2008.
At this time it is unclear as to the motive of the shooting. Witnesses told Southwest Florida Online it may be gang related.
Investigators have obtained a warrant for the arrest of 14 year old Gustavo Antonio Alfaro who is avoiding contact with law enforcement. Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Alfaro is asked to contact the Hendry County Investigator, K. Herrera, at 863-674-5600 or you may remain anonymous by calling Crimestoppers at 1-800- 780-TIPS (8477). Alfaro lives on Liberty Avenue in the Sherwood Subdivision.
Update: 14-year old Gustavo Antonio Alfaro was located Wednesday and arrested by authorities.
Give that lil rat life in prison. A waste of sperm. We dont need criminals like that out on the streets.
