Crystal Drake Appointed To Commission Board By Governor

MOORE HAVEN, FL. -- Governor Rick Scott has appointed Crystal Drake, 55, of Moore Haven, to fill a Glades County Commission board vacancy.

She has a degree in Social Science Education from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Drake is a teacher with the Glades County School District and will fill a vacancy created by the passing of Dennis Griffin. The term will be ending November 11.

She has been married and a resident of Glades county for over 30 years and ran for the District 55 seat in the Florida House of Representatives in 2012.

    When did Dennis serve on the school board???? Might want to check your facts before you publish information.

    Hiw do you appoint someone who has never been to a comm meeting? Good grief Gov get your act together.

    ATTN SMH: The story above now is NOT the original story..It has been rewritten and Mr Browne has chosen to NOT state as much. But the first story said she was appointed to the School Board.....ME
