Greg Gunter Joins United Way

LaBelle, Florida -- United Way of Hendry and Glades announces the addition of Greg Gunter to the staff in a full time, permanent capacity. Greg has been part of the United Way staff since 2018; however, his employment was temporary, as it was funded by a grant for Hurricane Irma recovery. His new position is Hendry/Glades Coordinator. He will be supporting the manager, Lisa Sands, with the annual campaign, as well as the allocations process. Greg will also focus on building relationships and partnerships in the Clewiston area, as well as reestablishing the Clewiston United Way House.

Greg Gunter has been a resident of the area for over 20 years, and has a BS in Marketing. Previously, he was the owner of LaBelle’s Badcock Home Furnishing Store. Gunter has one son and two granddaughters.

The United Way of Hendry, Glades is a volunteer organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all people in our community. In addition to raising funds for human service organizations in our community, the United Way promotes partnerships and collaborations among agencies and initiatives, helping them to work together focusing on issues and solutions that continue to improve lives. United Way helps support a local human service network of 28 partner agencies and 64 programs.
