Hendry Democrats Meet At New Restaurant

LABELLE, FL. -- The Hendry County Democratic Executive Committee will hold its July monthly meeting in LaBelle at A Country Place Restaurant and Bakery, 550 West Hickpochee Avenue (SR 80), on Thursday, July 28, at 6:30 p.m.

A Country Place, LaBelle's newest restaurant, is located at the site of the now-defunct Flora and Ella's Restaurant.

Hendry County Democrats alternate their monthly meetings between Clewiston and LaBelle.
Local Democratic Party Chairman Joe Thomas says the meeting is open to the public, and Democrats registered to vote in Hendry County are welcome to participate in the discussion.

Items to be discussed at the meeting are committee vacancies at the precinct level, the Florida Democratic Party's push to get Demorats signed up for Vote By Mail, organizing Young Democrats in Hendry County, the upcoming hearings on Florida's decennial redistricting of U S Congressional and Florida Senatorial and House Districts, and the 2011 FDP Convention to be held in Orlando in October.
