Phone Scam Alert - You May Have Won A Car!

Chicago Company Calling Consumers With Misleading Statements

Beware of anyone calling you from a company called Premium Gifting saying you may have won a car or one of the "top four prizes."

The company, Premium Gifting LLC., is apparently seeking prospects for other companies selling time-share or vacation offers and wants to get you to a location where they are having a "prize drawing." In reality you will sit through a high pressure sales pitch.

They only want married couples, so if you're single they won't "invite" you, a tip-off for a sales presentation for real estate or vacation packages.

The phone message assures you that they are not telemarketers, that they know you are on the "Do Not Call List" and obviously they wouldn't be calling if they weren't legitimate, they say, and tell you that you have won a prize.

They claim you filled out an entry form in the last 12-16 months.

The phone number they leave on voice mail for you to return is: 1-866-933-6013 ext. 124 and you are to ask for "Shirley."

The company's website is http://premiumgifting.com. The owner of the site is unknown, hiding behind a "domain proxy" so you can't determine the site owner.

Be alert for anyone calling you who doesn't know your name, and says you've won something.

I got another one of these BS calls from these Scam Artists today as well. They can't even tell you what the name is of the so called "WINNER" they are trying to reach. If you really entered a drawing wouldn't that person know your name? I filed another complaint with the FTC do not call registry. We pay money every month to have unlisted unpublished private number...computer generated lists...Report them and there numbers that show on your caller ID as well as the number that they ask for you to call them back at.

Today I received a call from someone named Kevin from Premium Gifting at phone number 708-566-4901 saying I had won a Ford Explorer or 25,000. They told me to call 1-866-933-6013 ext.243. I called back and they told me it was not a timeshare and no telemarketing. The guy that answered named Rob gave me an address in St Augustine, FL to go to an opening of a place call MAP Destinations travel agency. He told me that I had provide 2 forms of ID and a valid credit card. There I would get a scratch off and see If I had won anything. Yeah Right!! It sounded shady enough so I began doing google searches of the phone numbers, address and name and I got to this page. Scammers all the way!

Wow. Kevin gets around. He called me today with the umpteenth "last chance" call from 708 898 1279. The caller id says Premium Gifting. I am to call back to 866 933 6013 x 124. Same BS as above about being aware of the DNC registry and not being a sales call and I must have entered or he would not be calling but he never identifies me by my name. Says I have won a new car, or "one of 4 TOP PRIZES

I got the same call. I plan to attend. I'm a lawyer, and will disclose this at the appropriate time. I will call the consumer crime office at the local police and consumer protection agency and see if they wish to attend.

    Should be fun!

Wow! Seems like way more than 4 of us have won the top 4 prizes. When will these scammers see that one quick google search alerts consumers to their scam?

Yeah! Same story here. James called with his "4th attempt" said my "name had been drawn and I had won one of the top four prizes." Same # from Premium Gifting. I would really like to go with the Lawyer. He's right, should be fun!

My husband and I went to this high-pressured presentation, and at the end of it, we were told by the "owner" he instructed his staff to send the scratch tickets to be here on Saturday but they failed to obey; therefore, no prizes were given out on Sunday. What a scam!!

10/20/11- Same call. Same information given. What a scam; Ms. Marble at 1-866-933-6013 ext.137. She said she was not a timeshare but it was time sensitive and my husband must called right away to win a major prize. Her office may not be a timeshare but she is surely working for one. What ashamed. I wished the law would render heavy fines on scamers.

Looks like I did better than everyone else because I won a top 3 major prize and have to attend a 90 minute Award Ceremony. All the same BS. Travel agency opening up and would like to pitch their product. Didn't bother attending.

The article is part correct. The company is giving away the gifts in exchange for you to attend a presentation. All the consumers are made aware of that. What is also made aware is that the response made to the people are from an actual enter so there is no scam. In fact this is my first time see this post and now that I have I will be following up by sending a letter to the editor as well as filing a complaint with the AG

I know where he lives. Think I'll go shank him.

This is anonymous @ 1:37pm I've received 2 calls from 866-933-6013, one from Melissa and the other from Bryan, both in January 2017. Saying I'd be notified in a month if I won a Ford Explorer or I could have 25,000. They said I was a finalist in the drawing to take place in February or March 2017.
