LABELLE, FL. -- Lindsey Wiggins, Hendry County Extension Livestock Agent, is the featured speaker for the Thursday, November 1, program meeting of LaBelle Heritage Museum in the City of LaBelle Commission Chambers at 7:00 p.m.
Ms. Wiggins is no stranger to Hendry County as she is an alumna of the Clewiston High School FFA Chapter and a graduate of Edison State College. She received her BS in Agriculture from UF College of Agriculture with a major in Animal Husbsandry and a minor in Agricultural Business.
Hendry county is one of the major cattle raising counties in Florida, and Captain F. A. Hendry, the "Cattle King of Southwest Florida" in the 19th Century, is the county's namesake
