LABELLE, FL.. -- Congratulations to Drug Free Hendry for receiving the 5-Star Performance Award!
Drug Free Hendry was recognized at the 5-Star Awards Luncheon on November 6th at The Meadows Country Club in Sarasota.
To be a 5-Star, each organization must achieve 95% or above to be in the award circle and categories are designated by the total number of outcome measures each must satisfy in their contract.
Staff members from the Hendry County Health Department attended the event to receive the award. Andrea May, Director of Community Health Promotions, Edwin Melendez-Cortez, Human Services Program Specialist-Drug Free Program Coordinator and Kristi Hall, Administrative Assistant I.
Attendees also listened to an inspirational and informative message from the event’s dynamic guest speaker Mark Engelhardt, MS, MSW, ACSW, USF/Louis De La Parte Florida Mental Health Institute. He is a Florida and nationally recognized expert in the field of behavioral health and is also one of the original founders of Central Florida Behavioral Health Network, Inc (CFBHN).
