Informant Alleges Sex With Clewiston/Hendry Cops

CLEWISTON, FL. -- The Naples Daily News this afternoon released a story alleging former Clewiston police officers had sex with a confidential informant while on duty.

According to the story, in 2017 officers Matt Beatty and James Hester were accused, and statements were taken about the incidents by Michael Rowan, Darin McNeil, and Curtis Clay Sr. and provided to the Clewiston Chief of Police Gutshall and later Chief Aaron Angell.

Allegedly no action was taken and all the officers involved in the alleged incidents later were employed by the Hendry Sheriff's Office.
