IMMOKALEE, FL, -- Three are dead after a head on crash on State Road 82 in Collier county, north of Immokalee Wednesday morning at 12:59 A.M.
A 2018 Jeep Wrangler was eastbound on State Road 82 in the westbound lane approximately 3 miles west of State Road 29 as a 2018 Jaguar EX was westbound on State Road 82 in the westbound lane approximately 3 miles west of State Road 29.
The front of the Jeep struck the front of Jaguar in the westbound lane of State Road 82.
Both cars became fully engulfed in flames, the Jeep came to final rest facing south on
the north grassy shoulder of State Road 82 and the Jaguar came to final rest facing east in the eastbound lane of State Road 82.
The driver of the Jeep died and the driver of the Jaguar and a passenger died.
The crash remains under investigation and names are pending notification of next of kin.
