Free Mental Health Services - Hendry/Glades County

LABELLE, FL. -- Services for mental health counseling is available at no cost or under Medicare and Medicaid at several location in the Hendry/Glades area.

Among the free services are Lutheran Services Youth Counseling for children 10-17 (239-278-5400), Impower outpatient psychiatry for children and adults who are uninsured or on Medicaid. (321-639-1224) and Salus Care for substance abuse, psychiatry, and mental health for children 3-17 and adults who are uninsured or on Medicaid (239-275-3222).

ACT handles domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and outreach counseling for free to adults (239-939-3112 24 hour hotline).

Free to Children 3-17 and Adults who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse is the Children's Advocacy Center (239-939-2808).

Dr. Victoria Avellaneda offers free services to children 16-18 and adults under a grant from the Red Cross and United Way to Hendry/Glades residents and takes Medicare insurance as well (863-695-2339).

ABA of Southwest Florida offers behavioral therapy in home to children and adults with autism from 1 to 30 taking some insurance companies (239-691-6482).
