Fred was one of the last of a great generation of pioneer farmers who built the vegetable industry in the Immokalee area
Fred was born on May 27th, 1941 in Sunniland, Florida, to Thomas J. and Ruby Lee Barfield. From an early age, he was involved in agriculture in Southwest Florida, specifically cattle, citrus and vegetable production. He was the founder of Sandland Equipment Company, a John Deere Dealership.
Fred was an avid hunter and fisherman, and many wonderful memories were spent with his family in the woods or on the water.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Alice Barfield of Immokalee, sons, Jim Barfield (Linda), Felda, Florida and Thomas Barfield (Beth), LaBelle, Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren that affectionately called him Paw Paw, Matthew Barfield, Tom Barfield, Kathleen Barfield, Emmaraye Barfield, Madison Wiggins, and Tj Barfield, as well as four Great Grandchildren, David Barfield, James Barfield, Blakely Collins, and Montana Wiggins. Fred is also survived by one sister, Donna Sue Mays.

A graveside memorial has been set for December 23rd, 2021 beginning at 2:00p.m. Service will be held at the Ft. Denaud Cemetery.

Sharon Kay Heriaud (nee Busker) of Moore Haven, Florida, peacefully passed away with family by her side on November 27, 2021.
Sharon was born on November 8, 1942, in Freeport, Illinois. She was happily married to Ron Heriaud. She and Ron traveled extensively throughout the USA and enjoyed spending time and doing a variety of activities with family and friends. Sharon enjoyed the beauty of nature especially the feel and sounds of the ocean. She will be missed by so many who loved her.

Wife, mother and friend, Lisa Marie Knaack passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 52 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her family.
Lisa was a well-respected member of the Clewiston business community and worked at First Bank of Clewiston for 34 years, eventually becoming a Vice President in the loan department. Lisa could always be found at community events, volunteering in the evenings at the Elks Lodge, with the Tiger Boosters and the Hendry County Education Committee.
The simplest pleasures In life brought Lisa great joy, such as attending her sons’ sporting events, baking at the holidays and cooking meals for her friends and family. Her happy place was on the beach at Anna Maria Island, eating at Oma’s Italian Restaurant and going night fishing with the boys.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 26 years; Kenneth E. Knaack, Jr.; sons, Kyle, 23 and Kale, 20; father, Jeffrey Chue, Sr.; brothers, Richard Leiba and Jeffrey Chue, Jr.; sister, Susan Chue; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The mass will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 10:30am at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, 208 North Deane Duff Ave, Clewiston, Florida.
