'Grannie' Pat Bell Dies At 78

Pat Bell, age 78, known to the Hendry county community as "Grannie" or "Aunt Pat" died Saturday, August 30, 2014 in LaBelle. 

She was born Mar. 27, 1936 in Buckingham, FL, to the late Lewis Dallas and the late Erie Estelle (Thompson) Flint. She was a longtime resident of LaBelle and employee of Hendry County Schools for more than 50 years. She was a member of Christ Central LaBelle.

Pat was survived by her daughter: Sissi Pack (Wayne) and sons: Flint Bell (Alicia) and Mitchell Wills (Tina), 10 Grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren as well as a many others who she considered her own. She was preceded in death by her husband, Klim Daniel Bell.

A Going Home Celebration will be held Saturday Sept 6, 2014, 11:00 am at LaBelle High School Auditorium with Pastor Mitchell Wills and Pastor Shannon Craft officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Denaud Cemetery in LaBelle. Visitation: Friday Sept. 5, 2014 from 6-9pm at Akin Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle.

Fellowship & Food will follow the graveside service back at LaBelle High School Cafeteria. LHS will be open at 9:00 am for those that would like to bring food and paper goods.
