Stacia Ann Simpson Ferguson, age 51, of Everglades City, passed away September 25, 2014 in Everglades City.
She was born in Orlando, Florida to the late Buddy and Patricia Marshall Simpson and raised in Kissimmee. She married Brooks Ferguson; he survives. She graduated from Florida Southern College with a degree in Citrus then later received her Master of Science Degree in Education from Walden University. She taught school in Hendry and Collier counties for almost two decades.
She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter and friend to many, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband; Brooks Ferguson, three sons; Marshall Heath Robbins, Howard Levi Robbins and Raymond Ferguson, one brother; Clint Simpson and his wife Dee, her mother and step-father Patsy and Donald Morris, sisters; Susan Miller and Judy Brock, uncle; Harry Marshall and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her biological father; Buddy Simpson.
Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in First Baptist Church of LaBelle, visitation will be Friday evening in Akin-Davis Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Another visitation will be held Monday, September 29, 2014 in Sims Funeral Home in Bonifay, Florida from 6-8 p.m. followed by a graveside service on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in Vernon Cemetery, Vernon, Florida.
