Buses will be available at Maple Grove Baptist Church in Lakeport 10am
to pick up residents that are planning on going to the General Shelter.
Buses will be available at the Doyle Connor Building at 11am for
anyone else that may be in need of transportation to West Glades
Elementary the general shelter.
THIS IS THE LAST TRANSPORTATION THAT WILL BE
PROVIDED.
Highlands County will host 400 Glades County Residents at South
Florida State College in Avon Park (600 West College Drive, Avon Park
33825). You must provide your own transportation and supplies (food,
bedding, clothing etc.)Shelter will open at 8am tomorrow morning
September 9, 2017.
