Jeffs victimized women and children of the FLDS communities using his power and influence as the "Prophet." Evidence during the trial included audio tapes and writings showing how Jeffs taught underage girls to have sex with him, individually and in groups, under the guise of pleasing God and enabling them to get to heaven.
