Clewiston Youth Critical After Crash

Teen Airlifted To Hospital After Hitting Tree - Dies In Hospital

CLEWISTON, FL. -- Willie Green, 13 of Clewiston was critically injured in a crash of a motorized bicycle Thursday about 5 p.m.

The bike was traveling westbound on a paved sidewalk on Arkansas Avenue west of 9th Avenue in the Harlem community of Clewiston. The driver failed to notice a tree that extended across the sidewalk.

As a result, Green collided with the tree. Upon impact, he was ejected from the bike. Green came to rest on the grassy shoulder north of the sidewalk. He was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital.

Update:  On February 10th at 4:00 a.m., Willie Green was pronounced deceased at Lee Memorial hospital.

    My freind,my brother,my rememberace,willie was a fun loving person he would always find a way to make people laugh and smile...his funeral was sad and ovservitude it is a life that will always live
