LABELLE, FL. -- A 7-Eleven store in LaBelle at the busy corner of Cowboy Way between Main and Bridge Street opened today to greet an overload of customers. Parking spaces were at a premium as customers browsed the new convenience store or purchased gas.
A well stocked store on opening day had customers waiting in line at the register while a door sign indicated SNAP cards could not be used to purchase food items yet Gas prices matched the convenience store across the street, but customers filled the bays at the new 7-Eleven anyway.
Giveaways today included free Big Gulp drinks, facemasks, hand sanitizer, and coupons for free food items, with more free stuff planned in coming days.
The store is giving LaBelle Elementary School a check for $711.00, displaying the giant check at the new store. (photo right)
