LABELLE, FL. -- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is celebrated in LaBelle, Florida in Hendry County each year, community leaders and citizens join a walking parade up MLK Boulevard Monday morning, marching a mile and a half around the community from Cowboy Way and MLK Blvd. to the Alton "Kid" Jones Park, and then listening to short talks and then moving to the James Singleton Community Center for lunch.
