Vaccine Appointments For Thursday January 7 In LaBelle and Moore Haven

Hendry & Glades Counties — The Department of Health in Hendry and Glades Counties will accept appointments for the COVID-19 Vaccination for Thursday, January 7th in LaBelle and Moore Haven.

UPDATE: As the appointments fill up quickly, as of Thursday, January 7 there were no more appointments available according to the sign at the LaBelle office (see photo at left)

Please note: An additional day in Clewiston will be announced next week.

The Health Department will be following the Governor’s Executive Order 20-315.

COVID-19 vaccine shall only be given to the following populations (Must have proper ID):

• Long-term care facility residents and staff;
• Persons 65 years of age and older; and
• Health care personnel with direct patient contact

Additional dates and times will be announced when more vaccines and vaccinators become available.

An additional date for Clewiston will be announced next week.

Editor's Note: Last week the phone lines were not being answered and residents were forced to visit the Health Department in person and stand in line to register for an appointment. As there is a limited supply of doses which the Health Department has not disclosed the number, appointment times may be gone quickly.
