Drummond Runs Against Hoots For Elections Office



Drummond Takes Questions Thursday On Live Broadcast

LABELLE, FL. -- Kevin Drummond, the Republican candidate for Hendry County's Supervisor of Elections  fielded questions Thursday morning a 9 a.m. on Southwest Florida Online and YouTube Live.

During the interview, Drummond said he has requested information from the Hendry Supervisor's Office but has yet to receive anything. Among the items requested were the names of the employees and poll workers and the daily absentee voter list. He submitted a written request to the LaBelle Election Office, addressed to Lucretia Strickland on September 21, for the names of the employees and paid poll workers.

Drummond is running against Brenda Hoots for the constitutional office held for many years by Lucretia Strickland who is retiring this year.

Drummond has earned a Master's Degree from Florida Gulf Coast University, and has worked with the Capital Police in Tallahassee, and the Florida Highway Patrol as an investigator.

    Kevin Drummond seems to be an intelligent man with integrity. He's so right on about getting the students enrolled.
