Hendry County's Clewiston Museum Showing Journey Stories

CLEWISTON, FL. -- The Smithsonian exhibit called “Journey Stories” is now on display at the Clewiston Museum. This wonderfully illustrated exhibit captures the history and mobility of our nation.

The official Grand Opening of the Journey Stories exhibit will be celebrated Tuesday, October 23 at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Jessica Cattelino, Professor of Anthropology at University of California Los Angeles, will provide an informative presentation on water and its role in bringing pioneers to the Glades and how this interesting subject affects our lives even today.

This subject matter will be the focus of her newest book and for which she spent about seven months in Clewiston collecting information for the work.

This event is free, so bring your family or friend and enjoy a night at the Clewiston Museum.
