Obituaries - Betty Bulifant, Eloisa Hull, Audrey Brent Golden

Betty Adams Bulifant 86 of Clewiston, FL born March 3, 1930 and passed way Friday February 24, 2017 at her nursing home in Coconut Creek, FL. Betty was preceded in death by her husband William Bulifant and son Ronald Hunt. She is survived by daughter Sharon Gruber and son Donald Hunt along with their children and grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston with Pastor Charley Watts officiating. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston. Visitation was Wednesday from 1 hour prior to service at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL.

Eloisa Angela Hull, age 59, of LaBelle, passed away February 24, 2017 in Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida.

She was born Sep. 4, 1957 in Sugar Land, TX, to Pedro and Angelita (Arguelles) Carmona. Mrs. Hull married Jerry Hull. Angela worked as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher for Hendry County Public Schools for many years, she also worked at Hendry County Elections Office & ISD Schools in San Patricio, TX. She was a member of First Christian Church of LaBelle.

Survivors include her husband: Jerry Hull, daughters; Norma Pompa and her husband Fernando, Naomi Martinez and her husband Hector Bustamante, Nicole Gore and her husband Randy, sons; James Hull and his wife Stacy, Brian Hull and Joseph Hull, brothers; Ernesto Carmona and his wife, Betty, Eliberto Carmona and his wife Belinda Garay, grandchildren; Adrianna and Cristian Arriola, Tatiana and Guiliana Gaure, Adrian and Brandon Calfee, George and Manuel Aguilar, Randy Jr, Turok, Korben Gore, and Jackson Hull.

A visitation will be held Friday evening, March 3, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. in Akin-Davis Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Audrey Brent Golden, 79, of Alva, Florida, passed away on February 27, 2017.  Brent was born in Alva, Florida on October 19th, 1937. He graduated from Alva High School.

Brent married Shirley Jean Farmer on May 1st 1970; they were married for 47 blissful years.

Brent was appointed by President Lyndon B. Johnson as the Post Master of Alva for the United States Postal Service which he served for 33 and a half years. He served his community as a police officer in the City of Fort Myers for 10 years and as a deputy sheriff for Lee County for 7 years. Brent also served as the volunteer fire chief of Alva Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, working on his land and spending time with his family.

Brent is survived by his wife Shirley Jean, children Wayne (Diana) and Larry (Linda); brothers Walter (Norma) and R. Wayne; sisters Silvia (George Hann) and Judy Metz; grandchildren Joshua (Amber) and Derek (Jaylin); great-grandchildren Caleb, Levi, Audrey and Raelynn as well as many other family and friends.

Brent is preceded in death by his father and mother Arthur Audrey and Florence Elizabeth Golden also his son James Brent Golden.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Akin-Davis Funeral Home 13932 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33905. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church of Fort Myers, 10721 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33905 at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 3rd. Reverend Norman Walker will be officiating. Grave side burial will follow the funeral service at Alva Cemetery North River Road.
