Christmas Gas Prices Steady In Florida

Hendry-Glades Gas Still Higher Than Average

LABELLE, FL. -- Average retail gasoline prices in Florida have fallen 0.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.24/g yesterday. This compares with the national average that has increased 0.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.23/g, according to gasoline price website FloridaStateGasPrices.com.

Prices in Hendry and Glades county are still about 15 cents higher than average. Into Highlands county prices lower to average, and on the central east coast of Florida prices are about 10 cents lower than Florida average.

Including the change in gas prices in Florida during the past week, prices yesterday were 19.6 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 6.9 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 8.9 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 21.3 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
