Survivors include her daughters: Sarah Jimenez and Judy Graham of LaBelle, Sheila Mace of Palmdale, son: James Mace of Ft. Myers, two brothers, three sisters, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Georgina Kaye Grasshopper Bert, age 36, of Clewiston passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Clewiston, FL. Georgina was born April 17, 1975 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of George and Dale (Jumper) Grasshopper.
She is survived by her three daughters: Katherine Joyce Bert, Juli-Anne Jumper, Johnnie Sue Russell; two sons: Roderick George Bert and Kylen Jas Jumper; her father George and mother Dale (Jumper) Grasshopper; two brothers: Jason Grasshopper and Joseph Grasshopper and Fiance Johnny Russell.
The funeral service was held 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 10 at Big Cypress First Baptist Church, CR 833 (Big Cypress Reservation), Clewiston, FL with Pastor Joshua Leading Fox officiating. Interment was in Big Cypress Cemetery, Big Cypress Reservation.

John William Drake, age 84, of Clewiston passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at Cape Coral, FL. John was born August 8, 1927 in Nashville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe C. Drake, Sr. and Winnie (McGlothlin) Drake and brother Henry Drake, Sr. He is survived by his wife Emily (McLain) Drake; two sons: John Robert Drake (Diane) of Belleview, FL and William C. Drake (Kelly) of Clewiston, FL; one sister: Ettie Laurie Crossland (Aaron) of Kearny, AZ and one brother: Joe C. Drake, Jr. (Wanda) of Riverton, WY and five grandchildren.
He was a resident of Clewiston for 59 years and owned and operated Drake's Dairy west of Clewiston. He served in the Navy during World War II from 09/05/1945 to 08/18/1946 and the Korean War from 11/06/1950 to 03/07/1952. He was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Area Ribbon and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was a resident of Clewiston for 59 years and owned and operated Drake's Dairy west of Clewiston. He was an Honorary Member of Moore Haven Lodge 61 F. & A.M. and a member of Moore Haven Chapter 116 Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of Lake Okeechobee Scottish Rite Club.
He served on the Board of Directors of Glades Electric Cooperative, Inc. and Seminole Electric Cooperative, Inc.
