Sheriff Leases 10 Fords
Sheriff Whidden and Pat Langford of Langford Ford worked together to make this possible by having the vehicles leased for four years and at the end of the lease the Sheriff’s Office may purchase them for $1.
“These additional 10 cars are a necessary item. There have been no replacement vehicles in 2 years. They will be replacing 6 and 7 year old cars that have reached the end of their useful life,” said Sheriff Steve Whidden.

City of Cape Coral, FL bought 40 new Dodge Chargers, and are outfitted with new digital video systems that can be realtime viewed by staff and dispatchers. Plus amenities too numerous to mention. If they were going to lease these they should have bought enough to replace the fleet.
