Shooting In Clewiston - Info Wanted

Information Sought On Obispo Shooting

CLEWISTON, FL. -- Clewiston Police Chief Don Gutshall reports Officers responded to a shooting Thursday afternoon on East Obispo in the city. A home was shot into from the street, but no one was injured, says the Chief.

A suspect has been named, but no arrests have been made. Investigators are receiving nearly “zero” cooperation from witnesses and point out the shooting is not a random event. Authorities feel that this house was intentionally targeted.

The department staff is maintaining hourly observations of the weather in the Caribbean, noting the Disaster
Preparedness Plan can be implemented upon very short notice.
