CLEWISTON, FL. -- Clewiston Police Chief Don Gutshall reports that as has been the case for a number of weeks, "we continue to have high numbers of arrests for DUI, suspended Driver’s License, and minor drug possession. On a positive note, it has been another burglary free week."
He says the city does have a recurring problem with four-wheelers on Okeechobee Boulevard during the overnight hours saying "The noise is highly disruptive to the neighborhood, and we are concerned for the rider’s safety as well. We have not yet been able to corral them, but are working on a 'posse' plan."
