Hendry-Glades Obituaries

Edie C. Andrews, age 90, of LaBelle, passed away January 12, 2013 in LaBelle. She was born Aug. 26, 1922 in Wilkes County, NC, to the late Jeter P. Crysel and the late Ella (Welch) Crysel. She was a former member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in LaBelle.

Survivors include children: Lynn A. Cook; Dean Andrews Jr. and Mitchell Andrews, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters: Lillian C. Church, Margie C. (James F.) Pendry, Phyllis C. (Richard F.) Byers and sister in law: Margie T. Crysel. She was preceded in death by her husbands: A. Dean Andrews, T. Edward Hedges and Phillip Forester, sister: Mary Nell C. Church and Carolyn C. Evans and brother: J.P. Crysel, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2013, 10:00 am at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle with Rev. Warren Grant officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Denaud Cemetery in LaBelle. Visitation was Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle.
