Teacher Arrested After Student Bruised

Reportedly Unruly Student Instigated Teacher Grabbing Student

LABELLE, FL. -- A Hendry County, Florida sixth grade teacher was arrested January 11 after a complaint by a student. 

Lois Nellreha Parker, 57 aka Lois  Grizzla is charged with battery and released from jail the same day.

Parker allegedly grabbed a six-grader is her reading class and grabbed his shirt collar, allegedly causing a mark on his neck. Also bruising was reported on his arm.

Parker resides in Fort Myers.

She has been suspended with pay.
