Florida Gas Prices Rise Again This Week

Average retail gasoline prices in Florida have risen 3.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.38/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 8,237 gas outlets in Florida.

This compares with the national average that has not moved in the last week to $3.26/g. Including the change in gas prices in Florida during the past week, prices yesterday were 4.6 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 5.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has decreased 9.3 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 6.8 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago. "With the fresh start of 2013 many motorists have begun seeking information on where gasoline prices will be going for the upcoming year," said Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan.
