Gas Prices Finally Falling!

Prices Fall But Still $1.04 Higher Than Last Year

Average retail gasoline prices in Florida have fallen 9.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.80/g yesterday. This compares with the national average that has fallen 8.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.83/g, according to gasoline price website FloridaStateGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Florida during the past week, prices yesterday were $1.04/g higher than the same day one year ago and are 1.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has increased 0.1 cents per gallon during the last month and stands $1.04/g higher than this day one year ago.

On the oil futures market Monday morning prices have fallen about 3% in the U.S. and on the world markets to around $97 per barrel.
