LABELLE, FL. -- The driver of a 2004 Ford F-150 truck was in critical condition Thursday morning after a crash in LaBelle, Florida.
The truck driven by Antonio Moreno, 30 of LaBelle was traveling east on Old County Road 78 west of State Road 29 about 3:30 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating the road curving right. He traveled across the westbound lane and entered the residential driveway located at 450 Old CR 78 and then reentered the road and traveled across the eastbound lane and onto the south grass shoulder.
The truck began to rotate clockwise as it traveled across the residential driveway located at 383 Old County Road 78 and struck a tree with its left rear portion and rotated counter-clockwise continued traveling in a southeasterly direction.
It then struck a chain linked fence with its front portion and came to final rest in the parking lot of the Hendry County Boat Dock located at 363 CR 78 facing southeast.
The driver was ejected due to being unrestrained within the vehicle and was transported by helicopter to Lee Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Charges are pending and it was unknown whether alcohol played a part in the crash, according to the FHP crash report.
