LABELLE, FL. -- Learn about the Florida Wildlife Conservation paddling and hiking trails at a free public program at the next Florida Trail meeting at Fisheating Creek in Glades County.
Liz Sparks, FWC Recreational Planner, will a present program on the current and proposed hiking and paddling trails in Florida at the Fisheating Creek Florida Trail Sub-Chapter meeting on Tuesday January 8, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Glades County Historical Society’s Westergaard House located at 270 Avenue L, Moore Haven, FL.
Directions to Westergaard House: From US27 in Moore Haven turns at the courthouse. Go 3 blocks to Avenue L, Turn left and go several blocks to brown house with white trim.
FWC would like to take photos of off-road bicyclists using the trails at Fisheating Creek. Off-road bikers who would like to participate would meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Fisheating Creek Outpost in Palmdale.
